We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lemoenfontein Game Lodge - it is an ideal stopover point on the drive through the Karoo en route to Capetown. In talking to other guests it was obvious that the lodge has built up a good word of mouth reputation and would appear to have become a well known establishment where you can have a very relaxing and enjoyable break from your long journey. Very nicely decorated airy rooms with luxuriously comfortable beds providing a very good night’s sleep after a long drive. Drinks and the Buffet Dinner served on the outside veranda with views over the reserve was a delightful experience on a warm balmy summer evening. The quality of the food and the friendly and attentive service was excellent and our overall experience was quite exquisite - we will definitely be back for more of the same.
