We spent the night of 28 July 2022 at this stunning lodge on our way back from Madikwe Game Reserve. I cannot complement the staff enough for the friendly welcome and efficient service right from showing us our room to serving us drinks from the bar. Furthermore, we had the company of affectionate cat Dottie which moved in with from the moment we opened our door to beautifully decorated room 3, and left only the following morning! Unfortunately this time I could not enjoy a dip in the inviting blue pool or go for a hike in the hills behind the lodge (I chose to go for a run instead).
